Scooting around Phuket, Thailand - Day 4 of

The Pool at our Hotel
We woke up surprisingly early for having gone to bed at 4AM the night before. We were up at 9AM. We wanted to relax by the pool for a few hours, then move to the beach, where we could continue to relax until our flight later tonight. On the way to the beach, we saw scooters for rent. Reminiscent of our Key West trip, we decided to go for it. We were able to rent 2 scooters for 7 hours for $9 total!

Patong Beach's shoreline is shaped like a C. At the points of the C are mountains and the middle is a valley that is the town. We took our scooters through both mountain ranges, and all throughout the valley. Danae was intially reluctant to take the scooters in the mountains because some of the roads were quite steep but she quickly took to it like a pro. Fortunately for us she did because we discovered some beautiful secluded beaches! The water was bathwater warm and very clear. The island is beautiful. Below is a mess of pictures we took during our scooting adventure. I don't know what anything is. I basically took the approach: if it looks neat, snap it.
